Chateau Du Ludaix

Bonjour

Travel is in my blood and i think is strongly linked to my photography work.
When i was in my teens i used to watch a lot of video's by the dutch photographer Anton Corbijn who is the man behind many of the music videos of Depeche Mode, U2, Nirvana and many more.
Heading to this part of France to capture a friends wedding was a real treat and much of the landscape reminded me of the video for ''never let me down again'' a video shot in this part of France.
Clermot Ferrand was the area of France we were in and this fantastic area had many surprises for us including the fact that although i had never been to this wonderful chateaux before, it turned out i had infact met the owners before at a wedding i had previuslly photographed in chamonix many years ago.
The world is a small placed indeed.

Anyway here are a few photographs from this very laid back but andstunning part of france.

Sometimes i get asked when photographying weddings if i know any good bands or Djs.

The one band the bands i recommend is a covers band called the Juggernaut Of Rock.
