Montreux & Lana Del Ray

It has been a cracking summer and here is a little blog about the Montreux Jazz festival...

What a place the Montreux area is! 
The land of snow capped vistas and wonderful lakeside panoramas.
I had a fantastic time photographing the festival for one day back in August.
The sun was intense but the vibe of the festival was so laid back i was almost horizontal, however once we were inside the arena to witness the Brit-pop father and arguably one of the best British song writers of the last 20 years Mr Noel Gallagher, performing with his high flying birds the atmosphere intensified.
Noel was on fine form performing hits like ''Talk Tonight'' & "Don't look back in Anger" however it was not all Oasis songs and Noel's latest tracks from his new album really sounded great and had the crowd rocking.
Later into the evening i had a chance to meet GQ magazine's lady of the year Miss Lana del Ray.
She was very friendly, totally down to earth and told me about how she loves photography, video editing & performing.
I am a huge fan of her work and especially the song ''video games''.
